The bible records the story about Hannah in 1 Samuel chapter 1. She was at the verge of giving up, she was depressed as a result of her barrenness, however, she made up her mind to ‘do all’ and stand. She pressed hard in the place of prayer until she was perceived as mentally derailed. Sometimes we go through situations that overwhelm us and we just want to throw in the towel, but one important question is ask is, ‘Have I done ALL’?, there are definitely things we need to surrender totally to God to take care of, but often times, we have not exhausted what we can do ourselves. Basically, we complain about situations and get weary and depressed, but have we really ‘Prayed’? These days we do a lot of ‘talking about what is wrong’, we send campaigns out, bbms, facebook messages, twitter, we talk to everybody else, apart from HIM who rules the World, The great I AM, whose ears are not deaf to hear us and whose hands are not too short to save us. Social media is good but we cannot afford to let it take the place of intercession. Sometimes, we need to war in the spirit, fast and pray for things to really shift. We can’t afford to give up just now, it’s time we get into real spiritual warfare, for the bible says that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”…Eph 6:12. After we have indeed done ALL, we can then step back, stand still and see that salvation of God.

Confession
I will NOT quit too soon, I will tarry in the place of spiritual warfare, and having done ALL, will Stand firm in God. Halleluyah.
