It's Wednesday already and the weekend is closer than I thought. My Jollof rice spree is all I'm  looking forward to this weekend. Someone said she doesn't understand our love for jollof rice. Someone else said she prefers fried rice...mmbo. Why na. Jollof rice is the ishh mehn. Is it the burnt effect or the colour or the aroma... skalabagata ma ma ma...*God forgive me o*. Fried rice ain't bad seeing its healthy cos of the vegetables but not like my jellof rice.

I am writing this post because Oyce said I wasn’t going to put up any weekend download today…. Ntoi I will formulate my own weekend download… whether the devil likes it or not.

Someone saw me over the weekend and asked if my love for Jollof rice had ended cos she saw me in the house on a Saturday… I just looked at her and shook my head. She doesn’t know that my staying at home now is cos I am planning for serious turning up. It’s almost Christmas na and I know how much turnt up will occur this December so I am booting and loading and getting ready.

Truthfully I have been busy. Have you ever had to dump everything just to complete one thing? (I hope I just made sense sha)... Well I needed to complete a task that involved the whole of my attention and so I had to take casual leave.. e ma binu. Someone even threatned to bomb blogsville if  come back with the excuse of sabbatical... Oya no sabbatical o...na casual leave this time. Hehehe

TODAY’S WORD

God cares so much about you today. Not only does He love and care about you, He cares about the things that concern you as well. If you have concerns, worry or anxiety about something in your life today—finances, relationships, your job or anything else—know that your heavenly Father already has a plan to take care of those things for you. It’s a good plan, and He wants to show Himself strong on your behalf.

Scripture reminds us that the lilies of the field and the birds of the air are cared for, how much more will your heavenly Father take care of you? Today, cast your anxiety on Him and trust that He is going to take care of you. Refuse to dwell on your problems and don’t allow them to steal your peace and joy any longer. Instead, meditate on His Word and confess His promises over your life. Cast your cares on Him and experience His peace, joy and blessing all the days of your life!

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for loving me and caring for me. I cast my cares on You and trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. I set my mind on You and look for Your goodness in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
